Susan Abrams, Middle Division Computer Science
Susan Abrams has joined Casady’s Middle Division. She has been instructing students in computer science and CTE for over a decade and has been in the technology world for more than 30 years. Ms. Abrams has received numerous awards, including Wright Career College’s Teacher of the Quarter and SUNY Oswego’s National Business Education Award. Prior to joining the MD team, she taught Virtual CTE at Edmentum, Computer Programming I and II at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School, and Microsoft Applications and Keyboarding at Wright Career College. Ms. Abrams received her Bachelor of Science in Business and Distributive Education from State University of New York in Oswego.

Alex Davis, Upper Division Math
Casady welcomes Alex Davis who brings extensive research history and classroom management to the Upper Division math department. Mr. Davis was previously a mathematics teacher at Westmoore High School and William Cullen Bryant High School in Queens, New York. Mr. Davis received his undergraduate degree in Religious Studies and his Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of the Honors College and was a four-time Distinguished Scholar Award winner.

Cade Davis, Assistant Athletic Director for Upper Division and Head Boys’ Basketball Coach
The Athletics Department has gained both a new UD Assistant Director of Athletics and head boys’ basketball coach in Cade Davis. Before joining the Cyclones, Mr. Davis was serving as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Oklahoma. He played collegiate basketball for the Sooners where he was team captain in 2011 and led the team in Points and Rebounds Per Game the same year. He’s also in the Top 10 All Time for 3-point Field Goals Made and is a 1,000-point club member for OU. Mr. Davis received his Master’s of Adult and Higher Education in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration in May from OU.

Brittany Eck, Middle Division French
Brittany Eck brings her expertise in planning, coordinating, and creating a rigorous and engaging learning environment to her new role as a MD French teacher. Ms. Eck completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in World Languages Education. Before coming to Casady, Ms. Eck taught French at Westminster School and Edmond Public Schools.

Kristen Fairman, Health Services Team Aide
Casady’s Health Services has added Kristen Fairman as an aide. Before coming to Casady, Ms. Fairman worked for many years as a dental assistant, scheduling coordinator, and health industry professional.

Jayme Howell, Primary Division PreK Language Teacher
Returning to teach PreK Language in Primary Division this year is Jayme Howell. She has been working with young children for more than 20 years as a Montessori teacher and as a speech and language pathologist. Ms. Howell has a Bachelor’s of Science from Oklahoma State University, an Master’s of Science in Speech and Language from the University of Oklahoma, a Master’s of Arts Education in Early Childhood, and a Montessori Certification. She was a speech/language pathologist with local Oklahoma schools and was a teacher at Casady from 1996 until 2004, and then again from 2014 until 2018. Ms. Howell's children are both Casady alumni. Sumrall Howell graduated in 199 and Martin in 2003.

Kevin Jeffcoat, Security Team Member
Kevin Jeffcoat has joined Casady’s Security Department on the evening shift. Mr. Jeffcoat is a CLEET-certified armed security office and has extensive security experience, including being a School Resource Officer for the Oklahoma City Public Schools and an officer for the Oklahoma National Guard.

Dustin Keesee, Middle Division Science
Middle Division welcomes Dustin Keesee to their faculty. Mr. Keesee brings a comprehensive set of skills to science education, including project-based and experiential learning. He previously taught science curriculum at Independence Charter Middle School, Heartland Middle School, and Jarman Middle School. Mr. Keesee graduated with a Master’s of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Oklahoma.

Molly LeRoi, Lower Division Teacher
Molly LeRoi joins the Lower Division as a first grade teacher. Ms. LeRoi graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Central Oklahoma and has taught at the elementary level for more than a decade. Before coming to Casady, Ms. LeRoi taught first grade at Rollins Place Elementary, fifth grade science at Copper Mill Elementary, and second grade at Lakeside Primary School. She has received the Zachary Charity League Art Integration Grant, the Exxon Parental Involvement Grant, the Donors Choose Grant, and Dreams Teacher’s Teacher of the Month award.

Sahira Mussa, Lower Division Teacher
Casady welcomes Sahira Mussa as the Lower Division’s newest second grade teacher. Before joining the LD team, Ms. Mussa taught for Oklahoma City Public Schools, Oklahoma City Community College, Mercy School Institute, Omega Academic Center in Karmiel, Israel, and the Israeli Ministry of Education. Ms. Mussa graduated with her undergraduate degree from University of Haifa in Israel before obtaining a Master’s of Education with Honors in Bilingual Education from University of Central Oklahoma. She is fluent in Arabic and Hebrew.

Rose Mutombo, Primary Division Long-Term Sub
Primary Division is excited to have Rose Mutombo as a long-term substitute teacher. Ms. Mutombo previously worked at Le Monde International School as a Kindergarten and PreK French teacher, and at the Aurora Institute as a music teacher. She graduated from the National Institute of Arts with a degree in Music Interpretation and received her Bachelor in Cultural and Education Enterprise Management from the INstitute of Gombe/Kinshasa.

Grace Patton ’17, Upper Division Economics and Art
Casady alumna Grace Patton ’17 joins the Upper Division to assist with the Economics senior seminar and Art courses. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma with a major in Art and an Economic minor. Before coming to Casady, Grace served as an intern for OU’s Student Affairs office and an Investment intern with the University of Oklahoma Foundation.

Ty Prestidge, Head Football Coach
Oklahoma Coaches Hall of Fame Coach Ty Prestidge has joined Cyclone Athletics as head football coach. He brings more than 45 years of Oklahoma coaching experience to the Cyclones, including 26 playoff appearances, four “Player of the year” players, and eight All-State quarterbacks. Ty graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Cameron University.

Alexandra Smith, Lower Division Teacher
Alexandra Smith joins the Lower Division as a first grade teacher. She completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts. at Samford University with a major in Elementary Education and her Master’s of Art in Reading Education at Vanderbilt University. Before coming to Casady, Ms. Smith taught as a substitute teacher in grades K-4 at multiple schools around Nashville and as a sixth grade student teacher for Mountain Brook Elementary in Birmingham, Alabama.

Karrie Stevens, SAGE Dining Upper Division Snack Bar and Concessions
SAGE Dining has hired Karrie Stevens as the manager of the Upper Division Snack Bar and Athletics Concessions. She will be managing Jimmy's Concession Stand located near the football field, the indoor Concession stand located in the Bennett Athletic Center, and the "traveling" concession Golf Cart.

Katie Trudgeon, Middle Division History
Middle Division has gained the talents of Katie Trudgeon, who will bring her 14 years of independent school teaching experience to her seventh grade history classroom at Casady. Prior to joining the Casady Community, Mrs. Trudgeon was a social studies teacher and department co-chair in Heritage Hall’s Upper School. Ms. Trudgeon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Letters from the University of Oklahoma.

Fiona Vincent-Diaz, Middle Division French
Casady selcomes Fiona Vincent-Diaz to teach French in Middle Division. A native of France, she previously worked as a French teacher, assistant librarian, and advisor at Heritage Hall School and as a French instructor at L’Alliance Française d’OKC. Ms. Vincent-Diaz completed her undergraduate Licence en droit and her Master II Contrats Publics et Partenariats at Faculté de Droit de Montpellier in Montpellier, France.

Nicole Walk, Middle Division English
Nicole Walk joins Casady’s Middle Division as an English teacher. A 2013-14 “Teacher of the Year” Nominee, Ms. Walk has classroom experience as a teacher at Hefner Middle School, Del Crest Middle School, Coolidge Elementary School, and Traub Elementary School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Christian University, and a Master’s of Education from Liberty University in Virginia.

Christina Zesiger ’14, Primary Division PreK Assistant Teacher
Primary Division welcomes Casady alumna Christina Zesiger as a full-time PreK assistant teacher in Silver Area. She was previously a part-time PD teaching assistant working in PreK and Kindergarten classrooms. Ms. Zesiger studied Psychology at Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma.
