What do street performers, an experimental dance troupe and VW van have in common? Along with many others, they are coming together to give the Casady community an evening of live artistic adventures, immersive activities and surprise entertainment.
Casady Obscura will be an evening filled with artful hors d’oeuvres, clever cocktails and inspiring desserts! The one of a kind event will take place at Bennett Athletic Center on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 6:30 p.m and is for parents, teachers and faculty. Prepare for an otherworldly display focused on light, creativity and interactive experiences.
The evening will feature live music from Born in November, acrobatic performance art from Oklahoma's only CYR Wheel apparatus, contemporary dance from the Oklahoma City Ballet, our Glow Art Tunnel and more!. There will be plenty of gorgeous art to view and bid on and other fun activities like our Flower Bar and Sketch Artist. Come eat, drink, see and glow with us!
Last year, proceeds from our One Night Only fundraiser were allocated to provide a full-time, on-campus nurse supporting student health. Our community is fortunate to have this new resource and we are pleased to announce income raised from Casady Obscura will provide on-going financial support for this benefit to our students.
