Parent University: Screen Time Limits and Monitoring

The holiday break will be here before we know it, and in 2018-19 that likely means more discussions in our homes about screen time limits.
Casady School's Digital Citizenship Team will host an evening workshop and discussion forum on Monday, Dec. 17 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Middle Division Community Room that is focused on screen time.

Specifically, we will highlight and demonstrate some of the features now included in iOS 12 (for iPhone and iPad) which allow users to monitor screen time, monitor screen time for children, and also establish screen time limits. Limits can include bedtimes when iPhones stop working, apps that have time limits, apps that are prohibited, etc.

This Parent University is open to parents of all students in grades PreK through 12, as well as all Casady faculty and staff. We will also discuss different guidelines and rules families are using for screen time, and some other tools (like Circle Go) which families are using to monitor and manage screen time. Please plan to join us if you can, and RSVP here!
