Banker, investor and entrepreneur G. Jeffrey Records Jr., received Casady's highest honor bestowed on an alum, the Distinguished Graduate Award in 2011. This award is presented annually to a Casady graduate who demonstrates loyalty to the School; renders service to the community; excels professionally; and achieves recognition on a local, state, national or international level.
"It has been an honor to maintain my affiliation with Casady all these years," said Jeff. "Casady is a family. It's a family of teachers, parents, administrators, coaches and the student body itself. Each makes a significant contribution to the learning experience by sharing ideas and perspectives and establishing high standards. Through that rigorous community experience comes continuous personal development. And it was the trajectory of that development that provided me the opportunity for success in college and after. I am grateful that through giving I am able to show my appreciation to Casady for the opportunities it has provided me, like so many other graduates have happily demonstrated for the past 65 years."

Jeff is chairman and chief executive officer of MidFirst Bank, Oklahoma City's largest bank; is part owner of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Hotel ZaZa in Dallas and Houston; and is involved in other ventures both nationally and internationally. Jeff is a member of Casady's Board of Trustees. His father, George J. Records '52 was named Casady's Distinguished Graduate in 1988.
