Freshmen and New Upper Division Students Sign Honor Code

At Casady School, signing the Honor Code Book is a traditional event symbolizing a code of ethics and values that Cyclones live every day as good citizens in our community.
Early in September, freshmen and students new to Upper Division sign the Casady Honor Code during Chapel. By signing the Honor Code Book, these students pledge to follow the expectations of being a Casady student; to support the School; behave with academic integrity; and hold one another accountable for their actions.

The Honor Code isn't a document set forth by the School for students to follow. Rather, it is a document written for students, by students to self-govern and set forth their own expectations and standards of what it means to be a Casady student.

During the signing, Upper Division sophomores, juniors, and seniors who had already signed the Honor Code had the opportunity to observe and be reminded of the values they have committed themselves to uphold and cherish.
