Diwali Celebration

On November 13 Casady Lower, Middle, and Upper Division students gathered in the South Gym of Bennett Athletic Center to learn and experience Diwali as well as other festivals celebrated within the Hindu faith.
Casady students performed dances and showcased the colorful garments worn during such celebrations.

Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, or good over evil. In India, Diwali is celebrated throughout the country by all; including those from non-Hindu faiths.
