Fourth Grade Readathon

Fourth Grade Cyclones were challenged to participate in their grade-wide "Readathon," and students rose to the challenge! Students read as many books as they could in order to raise money for the Love Like Crazy Foundation.
Our fourth graders read a total of 549 books and 113,558 pages in just a few weeks. The grade's top readers were Som Gupta with 12,681 pages and Rani Aamir with 9,662 pages.

Through their efforts, they were able to raise $6,523 for the Love Like Crazy Foundation. This organization exists to show love in tangible ways to children and their families as they fight various medical challenges and to enhance and expand education and resources to the community regarding pediatric mitochondrial disease, especially Pearson Syndrome, as well as other complex illnesses.
