CODA Honor Band

Students from 70 different schools auditioned for the Central Oklahoma Director’s Association Honor Band this past week. 
Students in seventh-ninth grade auditioned virtually while 10-12th grade students auditioned in person. Here are the results:

10-12th Grade Honor Band
  • Anna Ungvari - First Chair Flute, Wind Ensemble - Advancing to second round auditions
  • Nishant Shrivastava - Fifth Chair Trombone, Symphonic Band - Advancing to second round auditions
Seventh-Ninth Grade Honor Band
  • Ishaa Mehta - Flute Alternate, Ninth Grade Honor Band
  • Anika Shrivastava - Eighth Chair Flute, Eighth Grade Honor Band
  • Keiko Robinson - Third Chair Flute, Seventh Grade Honor Band
  • Max McAllister - First Chair Trombone, Seventh Grade Honor Band
  • David Reed - Third Chair Euphonium, Seventh Grade Honor Band
Anna Ungvari also made Second Chair Flute at the Oklahoma Small School Band Director’s All State auditions on Oct. 30. 
 
Eligible students who advanced to second round auditions will perform completely new audition music on Saturday, Dec. 4.
