Casady School successfully defended its 2016 state championship by taking first place in both B and C Divisions of the team competitions of the 2017 Oklahoma Science Olympiad State Tournament.
Casady's teams will represent the state of Oklahoma at the National Science Olympiad Tournament at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Their hard work, dedication and persistence through a season that began with the first training conference in September shows in the consistent growth and learning that was on exhibit Saturday and throughout the year."

Casady's Science Olympiad program began in 2012. With hard work and determination Casady has represented the state of Oklahoma at the National Science Olympiad Tournament the past five years. As Science Olympiad continues to grow in Oklahoma, Casady students strive to match the accomplishments of past seasons. This is the sixth season for our Division B team, and as the five-time defending State Champions, the students have attended the Science Olympiad National Tournament every year they have competed. The Division C team is in its fourth season and is the defending State Champion and veteran of three trips to the Science Olympiad National Tournament.
