Strength in Casady's College Counseling Team

At Casady our College Counseling Team works collaboratively to ensure that each student is prepared to experience success in school, in college, and in life. Casady is a college-preparatory school, and the curriculum throughout each of our four divisions provide a foundation from which our students learn, prepare, and are successful at each stage of their lives.
Directors of College Counseling Dr. Janet Hubbell and Amanda Kisselle (l to r) along with Registrar Mary Ann Cockrum provide a premier college readiness program that includes both a parent and student track. For parents, the College Counseling Team offers College Nights that start in the ninth grade, along with special guest speakers, breakout sessions, one-on-one meetings and financial aid workshops. For students, the program provides a college seminar that includes essay writing, test prep, resume building, one-on-one college application consulting, and a mock admission capstone project. College Nights for parents of seniors, juniors, and sophomores were held earlier this fall. College Night for freshman parents is Oct. 4.

Upper Division faculty, administration, and College Counseling Team are focused on college preparation and college matching for our students. From course selections to advisors, from extracurricular activities to college lists – we intentionally pursue each student’s growth and validation at Casady and beyond.
