Mentoring Students in Science Olympiad Events

As Science Olympiad continues to grow in Oklahoma, Casady students strive to match the accomplishments of past seasons.
Science Olympiad students in grades six through 12 are preparing for the 2017-2018 Science Olympiad season. Science Olympiad tournaments are competitive academic events. Students compete in build events and study (test) events. Emphasis is placed on active, hands-on, group participation. Team members spend many hours researching, creating reference materials, studying, designing, building, and testing.

As Science Olympiad continues to grow in Oklahoma, Casady students strive to match the accomplishments of past seasons. This is the seventh season for Casady's Division B team, and as the six-time defending State Champions, they have attended the Science Olympiad National Tournament every year they have competed. The Division C team is entering their fifth season as the defending State Champion and as veterans of four trips to the Science Olympiad National Tournament.

Dedicated students, as well as supportive colleagues and parents, work together to make this a successful program. If parents, other members of the Casady Community, professional colleagues, relatives, or friends would be interested in mentoring students in Science Olympiad events, we encourage them to contact one of the following:
