Focus on Faculty: Clint McEwen

Clint McEwen is one of the many Primary Division faculty members who present an outstanding, nurturing environment for Montessori-based learning in our children.

Mr. McEwen joined our Casady Community in 2005, working part-time in Casady's After School Program and became a permanent fixture of the Primary Division's faculty at the beginning of the 2007-08 school year.

After 12 years in our community, Mr. McEwen feels the impact the School has had on his life. "I think back to all of the children I've watched play here over the years, and it gives me a great appreciation for being a part of an institution that has such a proud history and exciting future. I think of how I have grown and changed over those years as well."

What you may not know about Mr. McEwen is that he's an avid cook, a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoys reading and board games. And, Mr. McEwen's wife, Zenie, is also a Primary Division faculty member.

At the end of the day, Mr. McEwen says his students are the ones who help him keep his mind open to all the possibilities life holds. "My students' questions bring me the most joy. They are always interesting, frequently insightful, and occasionally quite profound," he said.
