Mrs. Alexander knows Casady's campus and our community very well as this is her 32nd year teaching at Casady. In fact, Mrs. Alexander was a "Lifer" at Casady, a term given to students upon graduation who went through every grade level at the School. Upon graduation, Mrs. Alexander attended Southern Methodist University and completed her studies in Elementary Education before returning to Casady to teach. Now, she enjoys spending her days with energetic and thoughtful students on the campus where she spent her days as a student.

"I am so inspired by the students at Casady," Mrs. Alexander said. "Our students are interested in learning and want to succeed. I really enjoy teaching fourth graders. They are independent and funny and have a strong sense of right and wrong."

For Mrs. Alexander, Casady is a family affait. Not only did she graduate from the School, but her daughter and son-in-law did as well. Mrs. Alexander loves to say that her family bleeds Casady blue. In her time away from campus, she enjoys gardening and cooking. On most vacations she travels to Chicago to spend time with her grandchildren.
