A Signature Program of Casady's College Counseling Experience

At Casady we work collaboratively to ensure that each student is prepared to experience success throughout their experience here as well as in college and in life.
Casady's College Counseling Directors Dr. Janet Hubbell and Amanda Kisselle are focused on college preparation and college matching. From course selections to advisors, from extracurricular activities to college lists, Dr. Hubbell and Mrs. Kisselle intentionally pursue each student’s growth and validation at Casady and beyond.

This evening, the College Counseling Team will host juniors and their parents for the annual Dean's Fly-In program to formally kick-off the College Counseling journey. The overarching goal is for all attendees to walk away with a more informed understanding of the application and admission process ahead. This unique, one-of-a-kind program kick-starts the formal college counseling program with 11th grade students and parents. Over the past 11 years, Casady has had the incredible opportunity to bring in college admission experts from all over the country to share their expertise with our Casady Community.

This year, college admission experts from George Washington University, University of Southern California, Loyola University Chicago, Trinity University and Oklahoma State University will visit with families during breakout sessions from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The Dean's Fly-In Program is a signature program of Casady's College Counseling Team, emphasizing their ability to cultivate strong and meaningful relationships with college admissions representatives from across the country. This is key to the success of Casady students finding the "best fit" so that they are successful in college and in the world around them.

Throughout a family's Upper Division experience, our College Counseling Team provides a premier college readiness program that includes both a parent and student track. For parents, college nights begin in ninth grade, along with special guest speakers, breakout sessions, one-on-one meetings and financial aid workshops. For students, we provide a college seminar that includes essay writing, test prep, resume building, one-on-one college application consulting and a mock admission capstone project.
