Casady's Junior Classical League Named Chapter of the Year

Casady's traditionally strong Latin Program is required for all students in seventh and eighth grades.
Middle and Upper Division Cyclones attended the Oklahoma Junior Classical League Convention at Edmond Santa Fe High School. Among other things, students participated in Ludi (games), Olympika (consisting of only running events this year due to the cold weather), Certamen (quiz bowl), Academic Tests, a dance, a Roman Banquet, and Gladiator Fights. Casady's chariot was ready to go for the Chariot Race, thanks to Mr. Bryan, but the races were snowed out.

The students were chaperoned at the Oklahoma JCL Convention by Casady faculty Jake Bryan, Peter Hoffman, and Briana Titus, along with Casady parent Hal Stevens. View the video on our website of our Cyclones making their entrance to the Convention: Casady School Video Gallery - Around the Lake
