Results from OBU Invitational 2018
Boys team was 3rd out of 8 teams in 5A/6A division
Sam Bass, a junior, took the lead early and won the race with time of 16:06.
The other 4 runners scoring for the team were Jack Berryman, a junior, 11th overall, time of 18:20; Rumaish Khastgir, a junior, 21st overall, time of 18:59; Peter Berryman, a junior, 25th overall, time of 19:14; and Nicolas Moore, a junior, 36th overall with a time of 20:12.
Girls team was 2nd out of 11 teams in class 5A-6A. It was a close race for the first place trophy, missing it by one point.
Claire Richardson, a senior, lead the race until the finish line, getting a 2nd place medal out of 139 girls, with a time of 20:57. The remaining four girls scoring for the team were Modesti McConnell, a freshman, 5th place overall, with a time of 21:43; Sophia Mathis, a sophomore, 7th place overall with a time of 22:12; Shanta Ramdas, a freshman, 15th place overall with a time of 22:44 and Kyra Patel. a freshman, 19th overall with a time of 22:57.
Primary Division Cyclones donned turkey and cornucopia hats, gathered together, and enjoyed bread and applesauce they made themselves during their annual Thanksgiving Feast before the break.
