  Amber Kapraun | Lower Division Teacher

  Casady School welcomes Amber Kapraun to the Lower Division faculty as a second grade teacher. Ms. Kapraun brings more than a decade of experience in elementary education, most recently serving as a second grade teacher at Rose Union Elementary in Edmond, Oklahoma. Prior to that, she taught both kindergarten and second grade at East Dubuque Elementary in Illinois. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Elementary Education from Illinois State University and is certified in both Oklahoma and Illinois. Ms. Kapraun is passionate about creating engaging, student-centered learning environments where every child is supported through differentiated instruction and encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

  Anne Cave | Upper Division Registrar/Admin Assistant

  Casady School is pleased to welcome Anne Cave to the Upper Division staff as a Registrar/Administrative Assistant. Ms. Cave brings a diverse background in education, having taught Latin, Greek, mythology, and writing at both the secondary and collegiate levels. Recently, she served as an adjunct professor at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, and previously taught at the University of Missouri and Monmouth College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Latin from Monmouth College and a Master of Arts in Classical Languages from the University of Missouri. Ms. Cave is passionate about helping students discover the enduring relevance of classical languages and cultures while fostering strong critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills in the classroom.

  Catalina (Cat) Williams | Lower Division Teacher

  Casady School is excited to welcome Catalina Williams to the Lower Division faculty as a first grade teacher. Ms. Williams brings more than six years of elementary classroom experience, most recently serving as a second grade teacher at Rose Union Elementary in Deer Creek Public Schools. Prior to that, she taught first grade at Gladstone Elementary in Kansas City, Missouri. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University, graduating magna cum laude. Ms. Williams is passionate about building strong literacy foundations, closing learning gaps, and supporting diverse learners through engaging, student-centered instruction that helps every child thrive academically and personally.

  Daaiyah Rahman | Middle Division Science Teacher

  Casady School welcomes Daaiyah Rahman to the Middle Division faculty as a sixth grade teacher. Ms. Rahman brings more than a decade of elementary teaching experience, having served in both Frisco and Prosper Independent School Districts in Texas. Before joining Casady School, she taught second grade in Prosper ISD, where she also served as a team lead, collaborating across all core subject areas to support student achievement and instructional excellence. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6 from the University of Texas at Dallas and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy Studies at the University of Texas at Arlington. Ms. Rahman is committed to creating engaging, student-centered learning environments and uses data-driven instruction, strong relationships, and innovative teaching strategies to help every student thrive.

  Derek Philliber | Upper Division Teacher

  Casady School is proud to welcome Derek Philliber to the Upper Division faculty as a physics teacher. Mr. Philliber brings a strong background in the sciences, with experience in both higher education and laboratory research. Prior to joining the Casady Community, he served as a Teaching Assistant for General Physics at the University of Oklahoma and as a substitute teacher at Crossings Christian School. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Mathematics with a minor in Physics from Southern Nazarene University and recently earned a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Philliber is passionate about helping students develop curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while making complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging for all learners.

• Josh Cooper | Head Football Coach/PE

  Casady School welcomes Josh Cooper to the Upper Division faculty as a PE teacher and coach. Coach Cooper brings more than a decade of coaching experience at the high school level, most recently serving as Head Coach of the Weight Room at Hinton High School and previously as Offensive Coordinator at Casady School. A former Division I football student-athlete at Oklahoma State University and professional athlete with both the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings, Coach Cooper earned his Bachelor of University Studies in Business from Oklahoma State. He is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the field, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, leadership, and a strong work ethic in all aspects of his teaching and coaching.

  Kailen Kinsey | Upper Division Teacher

  Casady School is excited to welcome Kailen Kinsey to the Upper Division faculty as a history teacher. Dr. Kinsey brings more than 12 years of teaching experience across academic and enrichment settings, with expertise in world history, women's history, and interdisciplinary studies. She served as an Instructor of Record and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of History at Saint Louis University, where she independently taught undergraduate history courses and developed writing-intensives. She earned her Master of Arts in Medieval and Early Modern European History and recently completed her Ph.D. in the same field at Saint Louis University. Dr. Kinsey is passionate about fostering curiosity and critical inquiry through seminar-style discussions, primary source analysis, and meaningful historical exploration that connects students to the complexities of the past and present.

  Paul Boren | Upper Division Teacher

  Casady School is pleased to welcome Paul Boren to the Upper Division faculty as a physics teacher. Mr. Boren brings a passion for science education and a proven record of success teaching advanced physics courses. Most recently, he served as an AP Physics teacher at Edmond Memorial High School, where he taught accelerated algebra-based and calculus-based physics courses and significantly increased both AP exam participation and student success rates. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics, graduating cum laude from Oklahoma State University, where he also conducted undergraduate research in theoretical physics and served as a teaching assistant in the Physics Department. Mr. Boren is dedicated to making complex scientific concepts engaging and accessible, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for physics in his students.

  Rachel Sexton | Director of Human Resources

  Casady School is pleased to welcome Rachel Sexton as Director of Human Resources. Ms. Sexton brings extensive experience in human resources, payroll, and organizational operations, with a strong background in employee relations, records management, and cross-department collaboration. She has served in both Human Resources Coordinator and Payroll Coordinator roles at Jasco Products Company, where she managed employee programs, maintained confidential records, and supported organizational planning through data-driven reporting and process improvement. Ms. Sexton earned a Master of Professional Studies in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is committed to fostering a supportive workplace culture and ensuring employees receive the resources and guidance they need to thrive.

  Sara Mason | Admission Associate

  Casady School is excited to welcome Sara Mason as an Admission Associate. Ms. Mason brings extensive experience in relationship building, communications, and community engagement through leadership roles in nonprofit development and recruitment. She served as Campaign Development Director for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where she led fundraising initiatives, cultivated meaningful relationships with volunteers and donors, and managed community partnerships. Ms. Mason earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections and looks forward to helping prospective families discover all that Casady School has to offer.

  Sydney Anderson | Assistant Choir Director

  Casady School is thrilled to welcome Sydney Anderson to the Performing Arts faculty as Assistant Choir Director. Ms. Anderson brings experience directing award-winning middle and high school choral programs, where she has prepared students for regional and all-state ensembles, led successful concert performances, and fostered a love of music through collaborative learning. She most recently served as Choir Director at Yukon High School and previously directed choir programs in Princeton Independent School District in Texas. Ms. Anderson earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Music Education from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Oklahoma City University. She is passionate about helping students grow as musicians and performers while building confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for choral music.

  John Borrego | Upper Division Teacher

  Casady School is thrilled to welcome alumnus John Borrego to the World Languages faculty as the new Upper Division Latin teacher. Father Borrego brings a rich background in classical languages and extensive instructional experience, having previously served as an adjunct instructor at both Seminole State College and the University of Oklahoma. A dedicated educator and scholar, his deep expertise spans Latin, Classical and New Testament Greek, German, and Hebrew. Fr. Borrego earned his Bachelor of Arts in Classical Languages from Yale University, a Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary, and a Master of Arts in History from the University of Oklahoma, in addition to completing a Dorot Fellowship at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is passionate about sharing his lifelong love for ancient languages and history with students, fostering a deep appreciation for classical texts, and guiding the next generation of lifelong learners at Casady.

  Fletcher Creed | Upper Division Librarian

  Casady School welcomes Fletcher Creed to the Upper Division as the new Upper Division Librarian. Mr. Creed brings a rich background in educational and library services. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with minors in African American Studies and Journalism from the University of Arkansas and is pursuing a Master of Library and Information Studies at the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Creed is passionate about promoting lifelong learning and providing engaging, diverse resources that support the educational needs of the entire Casady Community. He looks forward to serving as a guiding figure for students, supporting their academic and personal goals, and connecting with Casady's strong culture of leadership and teamwork both in the library and across campus.

  Erin Kelly | Prospect Research and Management Analyst

  Casady School is pleased to introduce Erin Kelly as the new Prospect Research and Management Analyst. Ms. Kelly brings valuable experience in donor relations and development, most recently serving as a Leadership Annual Giving Officer at the University of Oklahoma Foundation. She holds a Master of Student Affairs Practice in Higher Education from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Sports Business from Saint Louis University, where she competed as an NCAA Division I field hockey student-athlete. Ms. Kelly is passionate about building meaningful relationships and advancing philanthropic support to empower the Casady community.
