On Thursday, Jan. 9, in Lower Division Chapel, several fourth graders were recognized for their participation in their grade-wide "Readathon."
Students were challenged to read as many books as they could in order to raise money for the Love Like Crazy Foundation. Our fourth graders read a total of 693 books and 130,120 pages in just a few weeks.

Through their efforts, they were able to raise $4,780.29 for the Love Like Crazy Foundation. The Love Like Crazy Foundation exists to show love in tangible ways to children and their families as they fight various medical challenges and to enhance and expand education and resources to the community regarding pediatric mitochondrial disease, especially Pearson Syndrome, as well as other complex illnesses.
