Six Seniors Sign to Play Collegiate Athletics

On Wednesday, January 15, six Casady School seniors signed letters of intent to compete athletically at the collegiate level.
The signings took place in Casady’s Bennett Athletic Center, with the entirety of the Upper Division student body and faculty in attendance to witness these student athletes take the next step in their college admission journey. All six seniors signing were joined by family and coaches at the front of the assembly.

“These athletes are a fine example of the caliber of students we have at Casady,” Steve McCarthy, Casady’s Athletic Director said. “They have found success both on the field and in the classroom and we couldn’t be more proud to see the six of them sign on with these colleges and universities.”

The Cyclones that signed on Wednesday were as follows:
  • Sam Bass signed to The University of Texas to run track and cross country.
  • Peter Berryman signed to The University of Chicago to run track.
  • Julia Bohanon signed to The University of San Diego to run track and cross country.
  • Rumaish Khastgir signed to New York University to play tennis.
  • Caton Nelson signed to Hendrix College to play soccer.
  • Heath Stanfield signed to The University of Chicago to play soccer.
