Clint McEwen Named Primary Division Assistant Director
Mr. McEwen will continue in his career development and aspirations to develop his leadership talents as he learns and grows from a Master Teacher in Mrs. Jane Sharp.
Sara Zedlitz Named Assistant Middle Division Director
Mrs. Zedlitz will join Josh Bottomly, Interim Middle Division Director, to assist with the successful transition of the Division after 22 years of dedicated service by Elizabeth Larsen, who announced that she would be leaving the School at the end of the year.
Science Olympiad Preparation and Competition Under Way
Casady's Science Olympiad program continues to grow as students in sixth through 12th grades choose to join the program to compete on a local, state, regional, and national basis, in various STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) ranging from astronomy and food science, to game design, computer coding, and wind power.

Casady's Middle and Upper Division Orchestras both received superior ratings at the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association's (OSSAA) State String Orchestra contest.
At its core, debate encourages a robust clash between a multitude of well-articulated arguments, ideas, and beliefs. It teaches students to think critically, formulate their own views, challenge their beliefs, research, and engage in an an on-going dialogue of issues.
As a part of the curriculum, Casady requires all seventh and eighth graders to take Latin, and students may continue their study of the classical language through Upper Division.

Building a Culture of Computer Science and STEAM Learning

Moreover, higher education institutions continue to expand their computer science programs, and, therefore, in a tech savvy world, foundational skills and knowledge in computer science will be critical for students to be successful in higher education and life.

Casady School inducted 12 new members to the Cum Laude Society during a ceremony in St. Edward's Chapel. The eight seniors and seven juniors were chosen by a nominating committee to be a part of the international honor society.
Casady School is one of the founding members of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest Fine Arts Festival. Casady hosted Wichita Collegiate and Holland Hall for the first Festival in 1967.
