Record Breaking Egg Drop Competition

This year’s Egg Drop Competition was a record breaker, with 15 eggs surviving the drop.
Physics students designed and tested protective vessels, applying the Impulse Momentum Theorem to reduce the force of impact. Each drop was recorded and analyzed using motion tracking software, giving students an exciting look at the real-world physics behind their successful designs.
