Remediation of learning differences as identified in psychoeducational testing.
Coordinate the provision of accommodations based on psychoeducational testing as detailed in the Academic Achievement Plan (AAP).
Coordinate the referral process for students to receive psychoeducational testing.
Work with Director of Psychological Services, Middle Division Director, students, teachers, and parents to develop Academic Achievement Plan (AAP) for students with diagnosed learning differences.
Study skills instruction and planning, and instruction in organizational skills.
Direct observation of students of concern in the classroom.
Liaison between students, parents, and teachers.
Screen for learning differences, ADHD, and other academic, social, and emotional disorders.
Liaison between psychologists and school for the purpose of expediting the psychoeducational evaluation process.
Continually monitor of student growth and progress in relation to academic achievement plans, and study and organizational skills.
Collaborate with the Learning Resource Team to provide a school-wide system of supports and services for diverse learners with specific consideration given to transitioning students to the next Division.
The Director of Psychological Services provides psychological and psychoeducational support services to students and parents.
Consult with parents of students.
Observe of students of concern in the classroom.
Conduct psychoeducational and psychosocial screening of students and provide of referral sources for additional services.
Develop and consult regarding Behavior Plans and Academic Achievement Plans (AAP) for students in all Divisions.
Coordinate the Learning Resource Team which provides a school-wide system of support and services for diverse learners, with specific consideration given to transition to the next Division.
Serve as liaison between students/parents and campus or community resources.
Work with Division Directors to coordinate and schedule prevention oriented, mental health-related programs and speakers for the Casady community.
