What are colleges looking for?

Casady College Counseling recently hosted a seminar to give ninth, 10th, and 11th grade students a hands-on understanding of college admissions.
During the session, students participated in a fun and interactive game where two teams, boys versus girls, competed to rank different admissions factors, such as grades, test scores, and extracurricular activities, from highest to lowest importance. The activity sparked discussion and collaboration, helping students see how colleges consider a variety of qualities beyond academics alone.

Through this engaging approach, the seminar encouraged students to think critically about their own strengths and interests as they prepare for the college application process.
