International Day of Peace

Lower Division celebrated the International Day of Peace and Hispanic Heritage Month during Chapel. Students sang songs, listened to a poem, and prayed for peace around the world.
The International Day of Peace, also officially known as World Peace Day, is a United Nations-sanctioned holiday observed annually on Sept. 21. The day was first established in 1981 and is observed by many nations, political groups, military groups, and people.
