Ash Wednesday and Easter Services

Please join us in the Chapel of St. Edward the Confessor on Wednesday, March 6 at 7:00 a.m. for the Ash Wednesday Service to observe the beginning of the Lenten Season.
Christians observe Lent for 40 days, mirroring the 40 days Christ spent wandering the desert and enduring temptation. These 40 days are for reflection and preparation of the celebration of Easter.
All members of the community are also invited to the celebration of Christ's resurrection at the Easter Service in St. Edward's Chapel on Sunday, April 21. Fr. Youmans will share more details with our community for the Easter Service during the upcoming Lenten Season.

Baptism and Confirmation Opportunities for Middle and Upper Division Students
Casady understands that some of our families see our school community as the primary source for their children's spiritual formation. Because of this, an extracurricular class will be offered during Lent for any students in the Middle and Upper Divisions who are interested in studying to receive Christian baptism or confirmation at Easter.
Classes will begin the first week of Lent, March 6. If you would like for your child to attend, or if you would like additional details, please contact Fr. Youmans at
Casady School is an independent, co-educational, college preparatory, Episcopal day school serving students in pre-k-12. Educating Mind, Body, and Spirit.
