New Schedule for Upper and Middle Divisions Unveiled

“I am truly impressed with the Casady Community and the approach they have taken to change their schedule to better meet the needs of the Casady students. What they have decided upon is a ‘Casady Schedule’ and no one else’s. Student well-being and learning are winners in this schedule.”
- Dr. Bryan Smyth, Director of Research, Independent School Management
We are excited to announce the new Middle and Upper Division daily schedule for 2019-2020! The changes in the schedule represent our commitment to both the well-being of our students and the mission of the School. Specifically, the new schedule will allow us to strategically prioritize our collective desire to nurture student wellness, promote durable learning, deepen student engagement, enhance community engagement, and develop student skills and knowledge for their present and future success.

This new schedule is the result of a two-year process that included extensive research; input from students, faculty, and administration; and consultation with Independent School Management (ISM), a nationally renowned organization known for its expertise in schedule research and design. Dr. Bryan Smyth with ISM has been our partner through this process.

Both the Middle and Upper Division schedules include “bins” of time designed to enrich the student experience by giving students and teachers time to cultivate stronger relationships with one another and allowing for deeper-level learning through our curriculum.
