Focused on Your Child
In Casady’s Lower Division (grades 1-4), we learn together in a warm, spirited, and caring environment. Since our Community is child-centered, we celebrate and honor the intellectual, social, and emotional life of each child. Our goal is to foster a love of knowledge, and enhance the wonder of learning, with a rich and varied elementary school curriculum.
Active, Hands-On Curriculum
In the Lower Division, each elementary school-aged student develops their unique talents and abilities. Guiding the practice and purpose of Casady’s Lower Division curriculum is a belief in active, hands-on experiences, and a belief that a strong moral and spiritual compass is essential to the foundation of one’s life.
Independent Learners and Thinkers
Casady’s Lower Division elementary curriculum places great emphasis on the processes students use to learn. Our goal for all students is a successful education preparing them for each grade level transition. We expect our students to become successful and independent learners – both as they progress through the Lower Division, Casady School, and when they become the leaders of the 21st century.
Nurturing Teachers
No program succeeds without highly-effective and qualified teachers, who love and nurture our elementary school-aged children throughout their entire Lower Division experience. The faculty model an example of excellence, helping each student be their best.
