Lessons and Carols

The Casady Community gathered at All Souls' Episcopal Church on Sunday evening for a beautiful Lessons and Carols service, listening to the story of Jesus’ birth and enjoying the incredible music of our Upper Division Choir.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so meaningful.

Lessons and Carols was first celebrated at King’s College, Cambridge, on Christmas Eve in 1918, adapted from a similar service created for the cathedral at Truro in 1880. The order of the lessons was finalized in 1919 and has remained unchanged ever since.

At Casady School, this cherished tradition is held each year as our community prepares for the celebration of Christ’s birth on Christmas Day.
