At Casady, all students are provided a foundation of excellence, which instills them with the educational and social skills to triumph in their future endeavors.
Selecting a school is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. At Casady, we take that investment seriously and work to provide our students a life of balance, purpose, and joy.
Casady's academic program provides our students the challenges and opportunities necessary to develop critical and creative thinking skills, the ability to plan, evaluate and implement actions, and most importantly, the support to nurture their passions.
Competitive athletics and physical education are central to the development of leadership and teamwork as well as self-confidence and respect for others.
Through the arts, students can learn valuable skills and talents that provide universal benefits and gain an understanding of a world deeper than they had previously believed. Fine arts programs are imperative in fostering creativity and inspiring the mind, as well as the imagination.
Casady's advancement initiatives help further the Mission of the School by supporting programs and activities that take place in the classroom, on the stage, or on the field.

Spiritual Formation: First Grade Students Receive Bibles
Casady first graders were presented the Bibles they will use through Lower and Middle Division in the School's religious education curriculum. These Bibles will remain in each students' possession and will be a constant companion for the next eight years of their Casady experience.
Casady School is an academic institution that has been rooted in the Christian faith tradition since its founding in 1947. Our faith is primarily expressed through the sacraments, liturgy, and traditions of our Episcopal identity. While our foundation is solidly Christian, we welcome students of any faith tradition.
In Lower Division, students meet in Bible class with Mrs. Vick and learn the stories of the Hebrew (Old) and Christian (New) Testaments, which are alternated between every year. Character traits are discussed and explored weekly both in Bible class and during Chapel time.
By Middle Division, students are ready for more discussion and analysis of the Bible and its stories and lessons in their Biblical Literature class. In fifth grade, students take part in a careful reading of the book of Genesis. Sixth graders read through the Exodus, the Wilderness, and the Conquest of Canaan. By seventh grade, students study the 10th Century United Monarchy, Babylonian Captivity and the Prophets. And in their eighth grade year, students grapple with the emergence of Christianity out of Judaism.
Each day, students and faculty gather for a time of spiritual refreshment, prayer, and worship. Daily Chapel consists of an abbreviated, yet spirit-filled, prayer service from the Episcopal Church’s Book of Common Prayer. During the service, students participate in a variety of ways: singing hymns, praying, interacting with daily scripture readings, and listening to a "Chapel talk.”
Most years, St. Edward's Chapel fills with students from Lower, Middle, and Upper Division three times a day. This year, that time looks a little different with students and faculty tuning into Chapel virtually most days from classrooms across campus to still share in the renewal and refreshment our Chapel services provide.
Middle and Upper Division musicians took the stage for this year’s Winter Band Concert, delivering a wonderful evening that highlighted their dedication and hard work.
Senior Lilli Henderson, an AP art student, has been selected as this month’s UD Artist of the Month for her compelling investigation into the complexity of food.
In celebration of the Feast of Saint Nicholas, Fr. Youmans made a joyful surprise visit to Chapel dressed as Saint Nicholas, spreading festive cheer and reminding students of the rich story and tradition of Nicholas of Myra.
To help kick off Hour of Code Week, Upper Division students visited Lower Division Chapel to share their excitement for coding and inspire our youngest Cyclones to explore computer science.
The Casady Community gathered at All Souls' Episcopal Church on Sunday evening for a beautiful Lessons and Carols service, listening to the story of Jesus’ birth and enjoying the incredible music of our Upper Division Choir.
Upper and Middle Division Cyclones kicked off the holiday season with a spirited Winter Assembly filled with friendly competition and lots of laughter.
In celebration of Día de los Muertos, Casady’s Primary Division created a meaningful ofrenda, or altar, to honor loved ones who are no longer on Earth.
