At Casady, all students are provided a foundation of excellence, which instills them with the educational and social skills to triumph in their future endeavors.
Selecting a school is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. At Casady, we take that investment seriously and work to provide our students a life of balance, purpose, and joy.
Casady's academic program provides our students the challenges and opportunities necessary to develop critical and creative thinking skills, the ability to plan, evaluate and implement actions, and most importantly, the support to nurture their passions.
Competitive athletics and physical education are central to the development of leadership and teamwork as well as self-confidence and respect for others.
Through the arts, students can learn valuable skills and talents that provide universal benefits and gain an understanding of a world deeper than they had previously believed. Fine arts programs are imperative in fostering creativity and inspiring the mind, as well as the imagination.
Casady's advancement initiatives help further the Mission of the School by supporting programs and activities that take place in the classroom, on the stage, or on the field.

Focus on Faculty Spotlight: Phyllis Seitter
Any student or alum who has studied visual art in the Upper Division since the 1980s will undoubtedly remember Phyllis Seitter, who displays kindess and encouragement to her students every day.
View Phyllis Seitter in this week's Focus on Faculty video on the CasadySchoolLife YouTube Channel: Focus on Faculty - Phyllis Seitter. Mrs. Seitter, who joined the Casady Community in 1981 is now the School's Visual Arts Chair and holds the Eleanor Blake Kirkpatrick Fine Arts Endowed Chair.
Mrs. Seitter completed her undergraduate studies in Art Education at Edinboro State University of Pennsylvania, and later received her Master's in Instructional Media from Oklahoma State University.
In her 37-year tenure at Casady Mrs. Seitter has become a fixture of the Upper Division experience. She has taught and worked with our students in every medium imaginable. From pencil, charcoal, and clay to photography and mixed media, she also teaches AP Art History and works with students completing portfolios for AP Studio Art.
"We tend not to teach just one thing," Mrs. Seitter said when speaking about the wide array of mediums and art courses she and her fellow arts faculty teach at Casady. "So it makes the day hectic, but it makes it exciting. It's a little crazy, but I think we accommodate the students really well. With the small classes and the size of the student body, it's really exciting that we're able to have kids working in different mediums all at the same time."
