Día de los Muertos

In celebration of Día de los Muertos, Casady’s Primary Division created a meaningful ofrenda, or altar, to honor loved ones who are no longer on Earth.
Organized by Pre-K Spanish teachers Mrs. Thalia Lopez and Mrs. Zuniga, the ofrenda featured photos, favorite foods, flowers, candles, and other meaningful items meant to welcome the spirits of those remembered with love and respect. Faculty members were invited to contribute pictures of their loved ones, and the Primary team also chose to commemorate Maria Montessori and Karen Towles, two inspiring educators who continue to influence teaching and learning in Primary Division. The ofrenda served as a heartfelt space for reflection, gratitude, and community connection.
