Service learning programs allow students to learn valuable skills as well as opportunity for self-reflection through service to their community and providing assistance to others through various programs. At Casady, we believe that community service can be a valuable teaching tool for learning skills and about one's self, and we provide numerous service learning opportunities for students who want to become involved.
Casady School requires forty-five certified hours of service to the community before graduation. Episodic volunteerism and service-learning experiences receive credit.
The only required form to certify hours is the site supervisor evaluation. Click here for the form.
Students interested in experiential service-learning may contact Mrs. Carnen Clay, Director of Service Learning, at firstname.lastname@example.org, (405) 749-3103 or (405) 520-1325, to shedule a personal visit focused on exploring service-learning possibilities for requirement completion.
Freshmen may start service work the summer before beginning the 9th grade year. Middle School service hours are not accepted for requirement completion.
Transfer students have a 15 hour service requirement per year at Casady. Only service hours performed the summer before joining Casady count for requirement completion.
