Middle Division Service Learning

The Casady Service Learning Program aligns with the mission statement. We strive to develop excellence, confidence, and integrity in Middle Division students. Service learning empowers Cyclones to engage their mind, body, and spirit to make a positive difference in their community and world.

The Middle Division incorporates SEE (Service Enrichment Experiences), Middle Division Service Club, International Club, religious education classes, and the school’s traditional “House System” to provide academic outreach. Students develop relationships within the surrounding community and serve at Andrew Johnson Elementary School, The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, senior facilities in The Village, and others. SEE period attendance and engagement is required for seventh and eighth grade students approximately five times during a given school year unless excused by administration.

Middle Division students may apply for a Presidential Volunteer Service Award, which is given during a special recognition Chapel at the end of each school year. Middle Division students may choose to track hours on a MD Service Time Log, which is due to Ms. O'Melia, Service Learning Director, by April 1.
