R. Todd Currie '93

Casady Alumni Achievement 2011
Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations
Perimeter Technology

Following the dot com bust in 2002, Todd Currie partnered with two former co-workers to form a new IT services company. This group of founders brought on four additional partners and acquired a former Williams Communications data center in March 2003, and began Perimeter Technology Center, which has grown into Oklahoma’s largest commercial data center provider. Perimeter purchased a former Genuity data center facility in Tulsa in 2004 and in 2008, built a state-of-the-art facility on a 15-acre campus in Oklahoma City.
"The experiences and challenges I received as a student at Casady have given me the confidence to take chances and succeed at almost everything I've tried," Todd said. "The education that I received at Casady gave me the foundation that I needed to be able to succeed. The support that I have received from the Casady family has been instrumental in everything that I've done; whether it was investors, customers, vendors or mentors, there have always been resources that I knew that I could count on with ties to Casady. I developed many lifelong friendships in the time that I spent here that I leaned on heavily as I was growing up and still do today."

Perimeter was sold in the fall of 2011 to Cequel Data Centers out of St. Louis. Todd continues to serve as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations for Perimeter. Todd is a past member of the Casady Alumni Board and is currently involved in the Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts, Afcom and Rebuilding Together. Todd has previously worked with a number of non-profit organizations and events.
