Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival Results 2018

A muddy Chile Pepper did not stop the Casady cross country team from racing well at the 30th Anniversary Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Saturday, September 22nd. The Varsity Girls team placed 27th out of 79 schools. Claire Richardson, Sr, lead the girls team with a 91st place out of 576 runners, and a time of 20:37 and for a personal record. The remaining four girls scoring for the girls team in order were Sophia Mathis, So, time of 21:16, Modesti McConnell, Fr, time of 22:04, a personal record, Kyra Patel, Fr, time of 22:04, a personal record and Shanta Ramdas, Fr, 22:09, Fr, time of 22:09 and a personal record. The Varsity Boys team placed 49th out of 89 teams. Sam Bass, Jr, brought home his first medal from Chile Pepper with an 8th place finish out of 651 runners and a new personal record with a 5k finish time of 15:53. Rounding out the remaining four runners scoring for the boys team were Jack Berryman, Jr, with a time of 17:41, Peter Berryman, Jr, with a time of 17:57, Rumaish Khastgir, Jr, with a time of 18:49 and Nicolas Moore, Jr, with a time of 19:43.
